The 8006282 Fiber Splice Case is designed for Fusion splices and Mechanical splices, both unprotected and protected. Today’s requirements for cable splicing, demarcation, bonding, strand and cable solutions have brought many solutions for fiber optic cable and copper cable applications such as fiber optic splice closures, Fiber optical fiber organizers and Fiber Optic Splice Tray Assembly Optical Closures (FOSC), and copper cable splice closures.

The 8006282 Fiber Splice Case is versatile and accommodates many types of fiber optic cable and copper cable applications, as well as being easy to use. Fiber Optic Cable Splice Cases are designed to remain sealed, watertight and airtight around the fiber optic cable, both underground or overhead and in all climate including hot, dry, cold, wet and warm environments. These splice cases can be re-entered easily without special kits or tools. The stainless steel locking bars make it secure and seal and reduce installation time. The hard plastic end plates are filled with foam and are easily cut to accommodate many types of cables. Some of our customers even use the fiber splice cases for copper cable splices.

The 8006282 Fiber Splice Case is designed to help protect, secure, organize and support optical fibers during and after splicing. These are used in conjunction with Fiber Optic Splice Closures (FOSC).

8006282 Fiber Splice Case use Fiber Optic Organizers which are an all-dielectric method to organize, store, support and protect fibers with removable individual trays to facilitate splicing, plus storage area for buffer cable. The Fiber Optic Organizers and Splice Trays come in various sizes and types to accommodate all of the different Splice Cases and splicing applications. And they have ample room for storing fiber allowing adequate bend radius to protect the fibers. These are FIBERLIGN® products, manufactured by PLP® Preformed Line Products.
